DIY Rain Garden
How to build your very own rain garden!
Materials Needed:

> Plastic bottle
> Marker
> Straw
> Scissors
> Sand
> Soil
> Gravel
Step 1:
Remove the bottle cap and any labels stuck on it.
* note: the cap and label can be recycled
Step 2:
Mark the half part of the bottle you wish to cut and cut the bottle there.
Step 3:
Place the upper half of the bottle on the bottom half as shown. Then, insert the straw through the opening.
Step 4:
Place the large gravel into the upper half to form the first layer. Add in the small gravel, sand and soil respectively above the first layer.
Step 5:
Cut off the excess straw protruding out of the bottle.
Isn't it fascinating how rain gardens are able to help cleanse water without the use of chemicals?
